"This is definitely one of the best boba places in San Diego! Especially since it's locally owned the quality is very good. I always get the tea frescas - premade fruit teas. The seasonal offerings are always great and I especially love the ones with blueberry and hojicha. The tea frescas are super affordable ($5). The boba is always super chewy and has a strong honey flavor, so if you don't like honey, get another topping. They also have customizable tea options with what kind of milk, tea, and toppings (the tofu pudding is always good). I always make sure to stop by here if I'm in the area!"
"This is a very nice boba shop but it’s in a rather dirty plaza that often doesn’t have parking. The prices are a bit high, but if you look past all these things, the tea frescas are great and they rotate them so you can come back again and again to try some of the best drinks in the city."
"Truly a unicorn of bubble tea shops. Emphasis is placed on using high quality tea, and the tea flavor shines through like nowhere else I have ever been. If you like loose leaf tea or matcha, this is the spot. If you're looking for more of a dessert drink like the brown sugar milks or taro milkshakes, this is NOT the spot. The boba is usually on the chewy side, if not firm. Ordering your drink *hot* fixes the boba texture issues, but that's the same at most places. I've been in SD for 2 weeks on vacation and this just happened to be the first shop I went to. Afterwards, I have been to 3 other places in town but kept coming back here another 5 times. It's just so unique, and it gave me a craving for tea-flavored boba tea that I never had before. My favorites have been Jasmine and Puer, although they've been out of Hojicha and Genmaicha. So sad to be leaving SD, partly because I won't be able to feed my Camellia Rd addiction anymore."
"Ordered the genmaicha and chrysanthemum milk teas. Boba is in the harder side if you're into that. Teas are strong, I do not know if it's in a good way though."
"Taro milk tea is so so special that we have never had the same taste anywhere else. It is mingled with jasmine tea and taro with added honey boba. The shop has board games on a rack so I think people can actually enjoy their playtime staying longer in the tea shop. The shop also sells packages of pearls and boba materials.."
