Panera Bread

"As a member of the sip club I like to come by Panera bread to get my coffee fix. It's nice that this location has a drive-thru so I can just pop by real quick and get my coffee. It was a Saturday afternoon my girlfriend and I came here for a quick bite to eat before we head out for the day. I got myself a broccoli cheddar soup and she got a tomato soup. We also shared a breakfast sandwich. My broccoli cheddar soup had a nice cheesy taste to it with good amount of broccoli bits. As for my girlfriend's tomato soup she didn't really care for it, she said it was kind of bland and it really have much tomato kick to it. As for our sandwich it wasn't bad. It's hard to go wrong with sausage, eggs, cheese, and bread. The staff here is very nice and always willing to help you. They keep this restaurant clean so I appreciate that. The drive-thru is an amazing Plus because I can get my sip club coffee with ease here."

"When ordering togo MAKE SURE your order is correct. You have to physically see the sandwich. The receipt can't be trusted, the hand written order on the wrapper can't be trusted. And the sandwich they give you by mistake is definitely not what you ordered and look like a thrown together mess. Oh btw they don't have the customer service to bring you a correct order when they messed it up. I've had myself and other employees drive from San Diego to Carlsbad/San Marcos and back (In there personal vehicle even though Panera has a company catering vehicle someone could've drove) when someone has messed up. But I guess great customer service isn't the same standard at some places. They did offer to refund my order in 24 hours. I'll definitely be starving by then. I guess I can't rely on them for breakfast any more. Kind of funny at the bottom of the receipt it gives an employee the opportunity to check for accuracy. We call this a double check. We don't let our products go out unless double checked."

"More cheese than meat. I don’t recommend the Smokehouse sandwich. It tasted fine but I definitely feel shorted. We ordered 13 boxes for a staff meeting, this will be the last time we order Panera for a staff meeting. Enjoyed the chip and cookie lol."

"Plenty of parking available and easy drive thru access. Inside is clean and has a few tablets for ordering your food. There is a little bit of outdoor seating. Presentation of the baked goods is nice and easy to see. They have a great selection of sweet and unsweetened teas and coffee as well. Prices have gone up but as long as the food quality remains where its at I would recommend here for lunch. The next time I visit I may try the flat bread if there is a special."
