"We had the tri-tip sandwich and fries. The fries were excellent - shoestring and crunchy. The sandwich was tri-tip on a bun. The meat was smoked and was tender while the sandwich roll was soft."

"Lunch was over $70 & food was TERRIBLE. Really awful. We ordered a pulled pork sandwich which they boast has 16 special spices in the sauce but maybe there were only 16 types of salt. It was so incredibly salty it might have well been a salt lick. Meat was dried out and weirdly bland. Except for the salt. As for the sauce? Also bland and weird. Tri tip sandwiches, which hello, the area is famous for, were also inedible. Paper thin, dried out, bland and disgusting. Completely overcooked. Zero juice or tenderness. Sandwiches were huge, so there’s that. Which would have been nice if they were any good. Fries tasted like they were cooked in oil that hasn’t been changed in far too long. Service? Not much to speak of here. No one was rude, but they were as bland as the food. And it took a long time to get our order. Only one of three orders came out initially, while the rest of the table waited. Bringing the entire table’s order at once is basic. Will not recommend or eat here again. Waste of money."

"Really bad food, barely edible!!! I was amazed how this restaurant had such a high rating. The tomato paste/sauce on Enchilada tasted like something straight from the can. The onion rings were so bad that we had to return them. The salad was the only positive, and it was really average. The lady at the counter was receptive and refunded us for the onion rings."

"My $15 chicken breast was tough, overcooked, and borderline inedible. I could barely cut it with a knife, let alone chew it. When I told the counter, their response was "I'd offer you another one but that's the way it is". Very disappointing. I've eaten here many times and it's usually good. The cashier wandered out a few minutes later to try and smooth things over, and offered a refund. Probably pushed by the manager. I declined and told them I'm not looking for a free lunch, I just want to be able to come here and get decent consistent food. But the beer selection is good and the patio has a chill atmosphere so we'll be back for another try."
