Reviews of Friedmans Home Experience
"Friedmans Appliance is simply AWESOME! I have had quite a few quality issues with my (LG Signature) appliances, but Friedmans went above and beyond to make sure I was always satisfied even though the problems with LG and not Friedmans. My salesperson, Raj, is always highly responsive, friendly and most importantly, always took care of the problems. Choosing the appliances was also an excellent experience. Raj and other salespeople are very knowledgeable, helpful and not in the least bit pushy. I will only use Friedmans in the future, I would not even consider any other distributor."
"My wife has had a great time finding top-quality appliances and many other things at Freidman’s for her bathroom/kitchen remodeling project. Sales support from Mr. Jaime Herrera harkens back to the day when merchants took pride in meeting the specific needs of their customers."
"Beautiful showroom. Top of the line quality products. Sales representative, Lisi, was very helpful and pleasant for the initial purchase. However, after the purchase was completed her follow up customer service was very unsatisfactory. Friedmans initial installation team was incompetent and failed to complete the installation, although I paid for it and was not refunded. After four weeks of many requests for additional installation assistance, I finally gave up and hired a competent installer and a certified electrician to complete the washer-dryer installation at substantial additional cost ($400) to myself. The professional installer and electrician satisfactorily completed the job in about 30 minutes. The Friedmans sales rep was negligent and unresponsive to my calls. After spending nearly $25K for home appliances, kitchen and bathroom fixtures since 2016, I do not recommend Friedmans for future appliance purchases."
"I recommend no one do business with Friedmans. I spent over $25,000 in appliances and an additional $1,000 for installation. One of those appliances was a Scotsman ice machine. 2 weeks after the install the power was shut off to our home for inspection as we are remodeling. When I arrived home from work later that day, I found the kitchen floor flooded from the ice machine. My father and I spent the next 4 hours removing the ice machine, dishwasher, and fridge attempting to stop further damage. I immediately reached out to our Friedmans sales rep with an email and photos. It took them over 24 hours to respond saying this should have never happened. They told me they had reached out to Scotsman and will let me know what they say. Three days later and no response, I receive a phone call from her manger, Long Trinh, who tells me Friedmans is not responsible for the damage, installation, or contacting the manufacturer. The best he could do is give me a phone number. That is absolutely pathetic. Over $25,000 spent at this establishment, paid for Friedmans to install, and their customer service is to provide a number to the manufacturer that I can google? Not a “I apologize this happened” or “We are going coordinate with the manufacturer to fix this problem”. Nothing. Long should be fired with how he handled this. He was extremely rude and condescending. His only concern was to express to me I am on my own. He did not spend one second trying to help. I am sure Friedman’s will respond to this post with something along the lines of “I am sorry for your experience with us” Or “That is a very one-sided view”. However, this does not take away from the fact that I am now on the hook for thousands of dollars in damages to my kitchen, and an ice machine that I do not know if this will happen again. Furthermore, I asked Friedmans if they would help reinstall our appliances since we had to take them out ourselves to prevent more damage. Their response was “My company can only install brand new appliances. Once another company/person has uninstalled your units, we can no longer touch them. So, in this example, if all your appliances were uninstalled, they can no longer be reinstalled by our company. The company/ person you used to uninstall them would be suggested to complete the work”. So, were we supposed to let the water continue to leak throughout our entire house while we waited a week for Friedmans to respond only for them to say they are not responsible? Their behavior towards this entire situation is appalling. This fiasco is holding up final inspection for our home and my family cannot move in. I have a three-year-old and a baby on the way due in September. I will be letting everyone I know within my community how horrible this place of business is. I am looking forward to the long-winded litany of excuses that Long will reply to this post with. Just another example why no one should do business with Friedmans."
"When our Zephyr wine fridge failed with a rare un-repairable failure, I was concerned. Our custom kitchen remodel included the fridge cabinet-enclosure built exactly to my Zephyr's dimensions. When I called Jimi, my sales lady who sold me the unit 2.5 years earlier and explained that the repairman said the fridge could not be fixed... that's when I experienced Friedmans' unwavering commitment to customer service kick-in. Jimi contacted the Zephyr Rep and he immediately called me to confirm the model and color of my unit. A new updated model arrived at my doorstep days later and I had 4 follow-up calls from Jimi & Joe to ensure everything had been resolved to my satisfaction. I honestly can't remember the last time I was treated so well. Thank You Friedmans, Jimi & Jeff!"
