"I’ve been planning to visit this place for a while but was pushed back due to super long line but got a chance today since it’s my day off (President’s day). I got there few mins before 9am and there was already a line. Finally got to place an order about half an hour later. They were out of a lot of pastries while i was ordering and they brought new items out after i already paid! So disappointing! They dont’t have Naruto roll today so i guess it’s the weekend special thing? Another disappointment! Their pastries are good but not great to wait over 1/2hour in line in my opinion. French toast is what we love the most. Oh and their coffee taste awful. If you’re a coffee person. I recommend get coffee somewhere else before visiting this place! We won’t be coming back…."
"A cute lil place on the corner of 14th st & Market st. A long line out the door with about 30 people in front of me & my friends at 9:08am (the exact time I got there) on a Sunday. Our wait time was about 40 mins. We went there in hopes to try their beef hayashi rice dish and truffle fries, but didn't get a chance to because lunch doesn't start till 11:30am. So we ended up getting a melon pan, an anpan, a chocolate danish, a fruit danish, a curry pan, a custard choco crunch, a custard cream pan, a matcha croissant and a creamy caviar roll. Everything was good. But out of everything we got, the best thing I ate there was the curry pan and creamy caviar roll. Those are the 2 things I would get again if I were to go back, but it'll be during lunch."
"Came in for an early lunch on a weekday and it was not busy. We were able to find a table and there were only a handful of people in line. Everything looked so beautiful and they were delicious too. We ordered a variety of lunch items and pastries. I love the beef curry bun, fruit danish, French toast, shrimp sando, and chicken katsu hayashi rice with omelet. Parking was a little hard to find. We ended up parking about 3 blocks away."
"Def recommend trying this bakery. The pastries were delicious, and the drinks were great! I was here on a weekday morning, so there was plenty of parking in downtown. I had to pay for the meter though. There were plenty of tables inside, but there was also outdoor seating. The line wasn't long, but they did look busy. Many people just tried the baked goods, but they did have a lunch menu with sandwiches. The croissant rolls were so good. The strawberry was my favorite. The matcha one was pretty good too. Visiting this place made me miss Tokyo. Pro tip: get the croquette. It was so good!!"
"We love Japanese style pastries so we were so excited when we heard about Asa Bakery. We got there around 11:30 AM and there was already a long line, but thankfully it went fast. We only had to wait for 20 minutes. We tried the Naruto strawberry croissant, as well as the chocolate and orange peel croissant. The strawberry one was packed with flavor and custard, but it was not overly sweet. Unfortunately, the chocolate croissant was a bit burnt and only had a mild chocolate flavor to it. If you’re in the area we would still recommend trying this place out!"
