"The place looked very busy as we had to line up to order then even find a seat. The food was pretty good as we were starving but it does get packed pretty easily as they have limited seating. The only thing I found a little confusing was about the drinks, which you had to grab them from the order desk and ONLY the food was brought to your table. The ladies serving are really nice and managed the traffic of people very well. We did wait I think about 10 mins with 6 people in front of us! They do have parking across that’s less than a min away. After picking a table allot of the seats were dirty and tables weren’t all clean. We ended up moving two tables that haven’t been cleaned yet even though that wasn’t such a big deal + we got some shade under that big tree. The atmosphere was really nice as they had pictures of the history of this place inside with surf boards + there are seating also available inside. The shop looks a little old fashion but suits the vibe of this place, also the prices of food here are kinda expensive."
"My man, G ordered the breakfast burrito which was the move here. He also got a Mexican Mocha Iced (7/10). I skipped a drink because with oat milk it totaled $8 and I just couldn’t figure out wrap my head around that so I glitched at the register and took the drink off and my heart filled with joy as the total went from $54 to $45! Yay! My first good decision of the day! Obviously I snakes some sips of my valentine’s Mexican Mocha, little sweet but refreshing. Nothing to write home about. I ordered the Thai Quinoa Salad and it was a disappointment, not what anyone imagined, confirmed by the friendly neighbors we had. They commented they “thought is was a side salad.” It wasn’t. It was $15 …In essence, it was a handful of wilted spring mix with a tiny tiny sprinkle of quinoa on top and some shaved carrots/cashews. It was so tiny and unappetizing I decided to show the waiter the old wilted lettuce pieces sprinkled throughout. The first man I brought it to was behind the counter with a little bit of an accent, his name was Cheba, he had a bit if an attitude. He made it clear that he felt I should eat the salad and keep my issue to myself, but then homeboy, Vivianno came along and offered to make me something else. Vivianno is MVP and deserves a raise. And Cheba should be less customer facing. Sorry if you were having a bad day Cheba. But after that salad, I was too. Everyone else’s food was great! Even the neighboring table’s bowls looked pretty good too. Atmosphere 10/10 dog friendly, great outdoor area. Definitely a great place for a sunny day. Take away, go in nice weather, byoc (bring your own coffee) or get drinks elsewhere, get a bowl or burrito, skip the salad. Note to the kitchen: more guac on the burrito would be fire!"
"Palmys has such a unique vibe to it. It’s held inside a home, with tables on its porch and the outer yard, there’s plenty of seating options. The food portions are great and the menu itself is diverse. We ordered a mint smoothie with a salmon bagel and a cali burrito with tater tots instead of fries on the inside. That was totally worth it, especially if you love tater tots! This is a great brunch spot the next time you’re in PB!"
"Such a cute place. We loved the atmosphere and vibe. We had higher hopes for the food but were sadly not impressed. My husband and I both ordered the surfers breakfast which was bland and barely warm. Our meals also did not arrive at the same time. The smoothies were however tasty. And the staff was nice and cheery."
"Highly Recommend! Not only was the food absolutely delicious, the coffee was tasty, and the ambiance was the perfect blend of lively and relaxing. It was a warm day out, but there was plenty of shade and a cool seaside breeze on the patio. Staff and service were great. Vibes were spot on, felt like I was right at home. I’ll definitely be back."
