"Man at the counter tried to overcharge me until my friend said something to him in Espanol.....then the bill went from 38$ to 36$. Waited for our to go order and asked for some chips and salsa that is served when you eat in and he wanted to charge us 3$. Got our food to go. Went fishing. Called because our orders were wrong and incomplete. Was refused when we asked for them to make it correctly...told come and get your money. Then he tried to not give me all the money I paid. Terrible experience .will not go back ."
"Hidden gem off the beaten path of Niblick. I thought I was in Mexico somewhere. Service outstanding, good delicious. I will come back. I had the cemita and it was stuffed with carne asada, I could have chosen carnitas or chicken. The avocado was falling out of the sandwich, wonderful!"
"Under New Management. It is hard to find a good mexican restaurant in Paso Ribles. But The best authentic mexican food I have had in Paso Robles is found at El Sol Restaurant. It is nice and clean and the owner is super friendly. Try it. You will be 100% satisfied."
"Good food here, had a good time with friend. I got the ceviche and shrimp dish. Love them both."
"I keep seeing posts about this restaurant being closed but we just ate there on Valentine's Day. The food was good. That being said, we were really unhappy with the bill. The burrito my husband ordered said it came wet in the description; but, on the bill, there was a $3.50 charge for having it wet. He asked for a second basket of chips while we were waiting. When the bill came, there was a $1.50 charge for the extra handful of chips. I can understand charging extra for chips but we should have been told that so we could have decided against it. Unfortunately, we won't be going back."
