Claire's Too

"Basically this is your round about way of getting Claire's to go when the lines are beyond busy. They are able to service you the full Claire's menu to go and they have delicious pastries and drinks. I'm not a coffee drinker, but I'm never disappointed by their options. The aesthetic is nice :)"

"This place is a hidden gem, and I must say, it exceeded my expectations. The coffee was not only delicious, and we really enjoyed the delicious pastries . The avocado toast was a particular standout, we loved it. Although the brûlée oatmeal didn't quite match up to our expectations, the overall experience was still impressive. The staff's warm and welcoming demeanor added to the positive atmosphere, making our visit all the more enjoyable. The only down side was that there was only one person so the service was slow but before we’ve left another staff member arrived. In conclusion, this coffee place is a must-visit for anyone seeking a blend of great coffee, delectable pastries, and a cozy ambiance."

"Claire’s Too - to-go coffee spot is the little cafe next to the restaurant. The line was long and there are barely seating for this cafe. The employees were very friendly and working hard! There is a little bathroom available behind the register on the right side. It’s semi-clean. They have plenty of extra napkins in the top drawer under the sugar and utensils and straws. We also ordered the already made fig and bacon and brie panini (they heated it up for us) and it was delicious! However, that was the only good thing there. The coffee was selling for great prices at $2-$3.50 for 12oz. Turns out, the coffee was grainy and I got honey lavender latte which wasn’t even sweet! I had to take my drink back and ask for more honey. The lady was nice and added it but it still didn’t taste great and had that grainy texture after every sip. Very disappointing."

"You’re here as much for the vibe as the coffee/pastries. I ordered the coffee so that’s nice but not outstanding. You can tell that it’s the place where local wannabe cool kids hang out. I do dig the vibe and the location. Great for just sitting there to relax and laze your day away and work. It’s right by your Solana Beach station so you can watch the train goes by if that’s your thing"

"Claire's Too is a mini version of the neighboring Claire's on Cedros for take out coffee, pastries and other snacks. The staff is friendly and the any line moves quickly … it is a great spot for morning coffee as it opens earlier than big sister Claire's. It is right next to the Solana Beach Amtrak Station, so consider Claire's Too as an option to fuel up for the morning commute!"
