"Fabulous Mexican food. Seriously! I ordered the Birria Queso Taco Plate which comes with a delicious bowl of warm consomme for dipping. The three Birria tacos are served on freshly made corn tortillas and topped with onions, cilantro, and salsa. Lime wedges, pickled vegetables (marinated sliced carrots, onion, jalapeño or bell peppers) and a spicy hot haberno sauce are served on the side. I saw a lot of Mexicans either eating at the bar area or with their families at the dining tables which is usually a very good sign that the place is authentic. The service is friendly, the place is clean, and the food is served quickly. Ice cream, margaritas beer and wine are also served. A child menu includes Taco Combo, Quesadilla, and Burrito for a reasonable price under $9. I highly recommend this newly-opened Mexican restaurant next to the bowling alley in Pismo Beach. They are opened later than most places in February. For now, their hours are 10 am to 9 pm Sundays-Thursdays and 10 am to 10 pm on Fridays and Saturdays. I highly recommend this authentic Mexican restaurant."

"Great little taco and drinking destination, you are welcomed to a spacious, clean, and well laid out restaurant, you know you can really trust a restaurant when they have the kitchen completely open for your visual inspection. I really appreciate the transparency of food and drinks at this establishment, I understand it's in the Pismo Beach main thoroughfare so of course prices might be a little steeper than most, before I even talk about food I would strongly suggest if you have a taste for a original margarita to check them out as they make their margaritas some of the best you would taste in the area. There is a decent selection of tacos that are available where you can either buy the taco separately or add on beans and rice to your meal. I must be honest out of the three times that I've visited this restaurant I've enjoyed having drinks and conversations more than just jumping into a plate of food. The food especially the nachos are fantastic, fresh, and a portion like no other. You might not agree with the slightly higher prices but at least you will get a good portioned meal for you and easily another person to enjoy. There are other Mexican restaurants and cantinas in the area, but if you are in Pismo near the pier then this is a great place to stop and enjoy. Pro tip try to catch them on a Monday or Tuesday where they will have discounted margaritas or Taco Tuesday which you can stretch your dollar farther and have more bang for your buck. I will say that this is a restaurant worth visiting so please don't hesitate. Enjoy your meal, enjoy the destination, and whatever you do be safe."

"Very good food. The best Michelada ever. Good location. Nice people. A little spendy though. Street tacos were $5 bucks each. I'm sure the location is driving the prices up. I hear the truck, same owner, in Grover Beach sells the tacos for less."
