"My whole family loves Mr pickles sandwiches...I just have a big problem with how dirty it is. There is always this poignant smell when walking in, the floors are filthy and the area where they make the sandwiches is has a dirty appearance. I usually just don't order anything for myself because when I walk in it just really " feels" dirty and that doesn't make me feel good about eating there....I wish that would change and that the owner would raise the restaurant standards for cleanliness. Just makes me feel weird about the food when the restaurant is not keep clean in any way. I'm hopeful that this review sparks something in the owner to change things."

"First off let me say that I generally don't really like sandwiches, but friends selected it so I went this it. The sandwich I got was French dip. It was very good. So good id return on my own. Portion size was big too. Next time I'm in San Luis Obispo I'll go back."

"Mr. Pickles is on the higher end of the pricing scale, and for the money I'd prefer someplace like Ike's Love and Sandwiches. They weren't bad, but there are better and cheaper options out there. Service was friendly, and I appreciated the free chocolate chip cookie that came with the sandwich. *We were camping in the area when I tried them and I spent most of the night fighting a bout of nausea, so admittedly my review may be a little prejudiced. It may or may not have been coincidence."

"I’ve only been here twice but each time has been amazing. The sandwiches here are absolutely amazing I would recommend one but they are all honestly amazing. I highly recommend getting a pickle while you are here."
