Peet's Coffee

"Peet's Coffee is the best! One star off on food because they discontinued the absolute best all-time scone, the lemon poppy seed scone, it had true scone texture and great flavor and was not slathered in icing. Unfortunately the remaining scones at least for me are all too sweet, chewy/doughy or too much icing, but friends who like things really sweet still love them. A little tiny feta and egg white quiche is surprisingly healthy and tasty if you like savory. They croissants are delicious, but pretty high cow and sweet for those of us watching calories. But it's all about the coffee, and Peet's Coffee is outstanding. Service is always great too, very friendly and the Baristas get to know you very quickly. It's my go-to coffee place in San Diego."

"It is posted online that this location closes at 6pm I arrived at 5:30 and the doors were locked with employees inside. There were customers outside that said they locked the doors at 5:25pm. This was very disheartening because I love Peet's coffee."

"This location has the updated interior which is a plus and a wider selection of food and beverages than most other locations. Service was a little slower than what I’ve come to expect from Peet’s though and the prices are also higher at this location than all others I’ve been to."

"New location a few minutes from previous...bigger seating area, better parking, not as intimate, a little cold feeling. Servers working hard but not keeping up, had to wait 10 minutes for a small coffee at 3pm. Hope they get their act together, have always liked Peets."
