"I got a small raspberry macaron gelato and it was delicious. The small was just enough for myself. The atmosphere is SO fun here. A great place to hangout and lots of food options beforehand if you want to eat before. The staff member I interacted with was super sweet and efficient. The other treats looked extremely tasty as well!"
"out | Other | $50–100 NOT AUTHENTIC FRENCH . ONLY INSPIRED french . Felt more asian like 85 degree .taste like a fusion /exactly what french bakery taste in asia .While the location itself is beautiful and they are multiple restaurent around . There is beautiful lights its very artsy you get that beach / ocean vibe and feels kinda on the higher end .the shop itself is very small the pastries choice are very limited the staff couldnt care less not very welcoming and very poorly train. The pastries are very grossly over priced . You can get fresher better tasting one at moulin for 8$ not 11$ . The pastries were dried old the cake been sitting too long . I had the rose cake it was a hot mess the sponge part crumble and is over soaked . 35 $ for a tiny cake go to LA or orange county they got better ones . I drove 2h+ to try this bakery i was beyond disappointed by it . Wont be coming back . Guess you are paying for the "ambiance" but not the taste . I will stick to moulin for delicate true french sweets"
"Attention to detail, unmatched in SoCal. Very French cornucopia of confections and petite mange. Very delicious, beautifully presented and amazingly French. We tried several flavors of incredible macarons and the French pudding. All incredible flavor and textures. The lady that appeared to be the owner was milking about perfecting every little detail, making the offerings look spectacular. The environment is a laid back, but high end fancy eatery. Very tastefully and professionally designed, full of artistic touches and strong California themes."
"You have to spend at least $27 or order 12 macarons to get a box. Otherwise they put them in a cheap paper bag. I think they could definitely benefit from offering a box for people ordering 6 macarons and could be good for advertising…anyway, the lady working the register was rude. Macarons were decent, sweet and light but also crunchy."
"We tried a few pastries here. It looked amazing, but the taste was not doing any justice for the looks. The wow factor was not really there for how it looked . It just tasted fine but not exotic. The price was definitely high for the experience. Have had better pastries at many other places. Might try them again for their macarons and bakery stuff."
