Our belief is that healthy food can taste amazing, which is why we use whole grains, local organic eggs, fresh fruits and vegetables, and unique homemade sauces and dressings. Our vegetable-forward menu is unlike anything you've tried before, satisfying even the non-believers.
Whether you are vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, soy-free, raw, cleansing, or just looking for delicious and wholesome food, we have something for everyone. Our signature OG Sauce is a closely guarded secret, made from scratch daily with the freshest ingredients. It adds a burst of flavor to our popular Wholesome Bowl.

"I love to go to Active Culture every time I’m in the Newport area. They have very original healthy options like the LB bowl and the Chocolate Bliss shake. The yogurt and açaí bowls are so good too. I like to get an LB bowl to go because the brown rice, apples, dates, prosciutto and cheese hold up well while traveling and I can eat it anytime I get hungry. Close to the ocean and sitting outside on a nice day is heavenly."
"Work here for a summer, horribly run store, go to San Clemente for better! Even the owner doesn’t understand basic things like workers comp. Illegally tried to make me pay for medical bills from getting injured at work. Caught it luckily as it went to collections because they never informed me. Also, behind the counter was not a sanitary work environment back then. Their food and drinks are enjoyable but the soft serve is marked up beyond astronomic prices. Hope they’ve improved"
"My wife found glass in her smoothie. She was about to give our two year old daughter some but thank god my wife took the first sip. When she went back inside to notify the staff, there was no empathy or concern. Nobody took the time to listen and take accountability and instead we just offered a refund on the smoothie and were told to just email the owner of our concern. We will definitely not be coming back!"
"Kombucha on tap! Might be understaffed…rough wait times, and failure to acknowledge presence for a while. Then proceeded to serve others who arrived later. Kombucha was the GTS pure love. That was good!"
"My wife and I stopped there to share a delicious acai bowl. It was quiet while we were there (about 9:30 am on a Saturday morning), and we enjoyed sitting out on the patio with our dogs. There was a slight view of the ocean, but quite a bit of construction going on. The service was very good."
