"This restaurant used to be a very good restaurant. Now it is an extraordinary restaurant - the best in SLO. Starting with the wonderful drinks, the creative and the delicious appetizers and main courses, and the exquisite desserts, this restaurant is amazing. We started off with cocktails and beers. For me, the highlight was the really good Passion Fruit Pisco Sour. I could have had several, but since I was the designated driver, I had only two. I tasted two other unusual cocktails which were also excellent - Jani and Lychee Chilcano. We shared three great appetizers: Apasionada (A Peruvian scallop sashimi), Pio Pio (a moist chicken empanada, and Bolitos y Palitos (yuca (not yucca) sticks and croquettes filled with Queso Fresco). The scallops were my favorite - melt in your mouth delicious. For main courses two of us shared Arroz con Mariscos (Peruvian Paella) which had a very good flavor and was plenty for two of us, but it could have had a few more mariscos, Paiche (a tasty white fish from the Amazon served beautifully with roe and sweet potato (a little on the small side compared with other entrees)), and Pollo a la Brasa (chicken marinated in beer) which I was too full to try, but which my son in law loved. The desserts, which were as tasty as they were beautiful to look at, were created by acclaimed pastry chef Florencia Breda. I loved my cute and delicious little raspberry and lemon puff (not sure what to call it). I have run out of superlatives, but it will take a lot of visits to this restaurant to try all of the items that appealed to me on the menu! Congratulations to the owner/Chef, Nicola Allegretta."
"Everything was exceptional. The seafood was perfectly cooked and the desserts were delicious and memorable. Their menu is large so I will definitely be coming back next time I’m in SLO."
"I was initially a little skeptical of their food when I saw Japanese food items on the menu of a Peruvian restaurant. But their food did not disappoint. I was pleasantly surprised by their Peruvian maki Mancora. It was rather very similar to Japanese rolls, but its tuna and salmon were large and fresh. Their paella Arroz con Mariscos was great too. It had a variety of seafood and wasn't too salty. Their rose-shaped dessert was visually very appealing, though not that exceptional in flavor. Would revisit when I'm around the area."
"Absolutely delicious! I love Google reviews! Most often it’s right on the mark! In town for just the night and this place did not disappoint! Had the plantain as a starter and we shared the paella and it was fresh and amazing! The coconut passion fruit mouse was perfection! BF had a carrot cake and the margarita and he said it was very good! Bought the chocolates on the way out so can’t wait to try those! The service is excellent! Our server was super attentive! Make reservations ahead of time!"
