"2nd time coming here and Antonio and Mylinh (owners) are very professional! Job well done again!"
"GREAT JOB! Competitive prices! We needed to have a new tongue welded onto our food trailer. Due to some mishaps with their welder, the owner stayed after close to ensure we had the trailer for the next day. Very impressed with the care and pride they took in making sure the work was done! And they did a great job on the weld! Clean, and strong!"
"Gotten several of my vehicles repaired hear"
"I am writing this story to report bad business practices by Bagsby Tractor and Truck service. It seems it is their custom to take advantage of young inexperienced customers who are in a desperate situation. My Story: My daughter lives in Spring Hill, TN. She is 21 and knows virtually nothing about cars and how they work. I am her father and I live in GA, approximately 500 miles away. Unfortunately, I am not there to correct this issue person and am forced to report their unscrupulous business practices via this method. The Facts: She recently had trouble with her car overheating. Her car recently broke down on the side of the highway and I instructed her to have it towed to a repair station. She had it towed to Bagsby. Bagsby’s conducted some limited diagnostics and determined that she had a bad thermostat which is what I initially thought. Bagsby’ s replaced the thermostat and informed my daughter that the problem was fixed without really testing to make sure it was fixed nor diagnosing the problem correctly in the first place. My daughter asked them to run the car on the highway to make sure it was fixed, since it was then that she was having the problem with overheating. They agreed (they should have done this as a normal practice anyway) and took the car for a ride on the highway only to discover that it was over heating again. This time they determined that it was either a cracked head or blown head gasket. The issue: Bagsby charged my daughter (me...since I am paying over the phone from out of state) $142.00 to replace a thermostat. As most of you know, replacing a thermostat is a very simple procedure which involves the removal of two bolts. When asked about the outrages charges, Bagsby informed me that the thermostat was hard to reach and that they had to spend additional time driving the car to ensure the problem was fixed correctly. This is something that they should have done to begin with in their diagnostics. My daughter informed them that she only had the problem when the she drove the car on the highway. But, Bagsby did not believe her because she was a young inexperienced 21 year desperate young who nothing about what she was talking about-- a nice target... My conclusion: Given the final diagnosis, I doubt that the thermostat was even bad. In my opinion, they simply took advantage of a "young girl" who was in a desperate situation. Now $142.00 doesn't seem like a lot of money, but it is if you don't have it and you are a young woman just starting your journey in life. This is more about principal. I seem too many times when repair shops take advantage of uninformed customers, especially young girls with no or little automotive repair experience or frame of reference. I plan to report this to the Franklin Chamber of Commerce and other concerned organizations in the Spring Hill / Franklin area. Some of you may have had fair to good service from Bagsby Tractor and Truck Services. However, in my opinion, they failed... they failed to do the right thing and have taken advantage of a young lady in a desperate situation. I only wonder how many other times they have done this. Sincerely, A frustrated Dad"
