"Beth was amazing, she took the time to communicate with my small son about what he wanted to eat. He enjoyed his meal as did we! Food was delicious and we’ll be back when we’re in the area"
"The salsa is house made and AMAZING And the nest part is you can buy it to take it home!! The flash friend chips are the best especially when warm!! The portions were big and a beautiful presentation! I got the nachos grande, which looked spectacular at first…. Until I dug in.. the cheese layer didn’t start until half way down, all the refried and black beans were literally at the bottom on the plate making the last layer mushy and the al pastor was very dry and cubed. I wasn’t able to finish it. Very disappointing. Hubby had the jeffe burrito, wet with green sauce with carne.. which also was dry and could have benefited from more “wet” The place seems like a great place to hang out and talk with friends , the music wasn’t too loud. The lighting was decent. The atmosphere was relaxed, and the service was friendly. Might try and come back during a lunch hour. Even if you’re not hungry, in you’re passing through town stop by for the salsa!!!"
"Stopped in for a meal at lifter a visual arts program at local high school. It was about 35 minute to closing time. The kept the cool for a little longer. They made time and allowed us to have a late meal. The food was brought out pretty quickly. Brought us chips and salsa, chips were very good and the salsa was tasty not spicy like we prefer. The waitress was so awesome and attentive. Our Jefe Burrito was humongous enough for 2-3 people, it unfortunately was not hot if barely warm. It was tasty. I guess it was because we got there so late. So I understand. My granddaughter had the carne asada fries, also tasty. I’d say it’s a pretty good except that food was not piping hot. I appreciate them allowing us to serve us."
"First time here. Weeks ago I overheard a conversation where people were praising the food so I wanted to try it for myself. Good decision! Went in alone at 7pm on New Year's Eve and it wasn't crowded. Had a drink at the bar while waiting for a small table to open up. Staff was superb from the moment I walked in and throughout the evening. I wanted something that wasn't on the menu and thought it I would have to go elsewhere. My waitress said they would be happy to make my request, no problem. Delicious chicken fajitas! Be aware they do charge for every little thing. (extra tortillas, sour cream, etc.) But not too much. Bartender doubled as a waitress, without losing a step, as it got busier. My waitress, Grace, could not have been better. Attentive but not overly so. Genuine, friendly, knowledgeable, on top of things. I noticed a lovely blond woman helping out and discovered she is one of the owners. I spoke with her and she said all the owners were born and raised locally. Rare, these days. I praised her exceptional choices in selecting staff. The atmosphere is casual, comfortable, friendly. I never felt rushed or ignored. (unlike several other local restaurants where they treat a solo diner like a nuisance). In fact, I almost felt pampered. Women's restroom was wheelchair accessible, clean, and (bonus!) had a little shelf to put your things as well as a couple hooks to hang a jacket or purse. So thoughtful. Parking might be a problem at busy times. Street parking, public lot across the street, and some spaces behind the building."
