"So amazing! The food is incredible! Worth the drive just for brunch or dinner against this gorgeous creek with mountains on both sides! The hibiscus mocktail was killer. Mimi was super helpful! We will be back!"
"Our first time here and what a gem! We had an incredible dinner with outstanding service. We started with a mole enchilada - the sauce was so delicious. The fish was excellent and perfectly prepared. The chicken was also really flavorful. I highly recommend Xacalli. We already plan to go back in a few days for brunch."
"First time, I can safely recommend a decent restaurant. It's just great. In my opinion this is the best restaurant in Southern California. It's a true fine dining restaurant. Thank you to the chef. And the cocktails and absolutely all the dishes are excellent. I can confidently say that this is a foodie's find."
"Highly recommend coming here! Tucked away in the middle of Silverado canyon, this spot is super charming and cranks out amazing food. Came here with a group of four. Started with the margarita which was really good. For apps we got the carpaccio and shrimp. Both were great, would order it again. The shrimp could’ve used a touch more acid, but I’m nitpicking at this point. We also got the queso fundido which of course was great, have you ever had a bad queso fundido? It had mushrooms on it and the sauces that came with it were phenomenal. Our server brought out extra sauces which was a nice touch. For the mains we all shared the al pastor chicken, the pork chop, and the lamb shank Birria. I would rank the pork chop as our least favorite, then the chicken Al pastor, then the lamb shank. That being said, I’d be happy to order the pork chop again, it’s just stacked up against some serious competition. I would highly recommend this to anyone who is looking for elevated Mexican cuisine and want to be transported to Mexico City. I’ll be back for sure and will be bringing friends!"
"A perfect 10/10 tucked away off the main road. The chef's doing great flavor things with seasonal ingredients. Mole was simply amazing. Pork chop crust and duck just-cooked hit all the right notes. Service 100% by every staff member"
