"It’s literally my favorite spot for pizza. I will go out of my way to eat here sometimes because it’s just that good. Even under new ownership they nail the recipes perfectly and I enjoy their expanded menu. Recently enjoyed the artichoke dip which did not disappoint. One of the wine offerings donates proceeds to Purple Hearts, I am impressed by this because not everyone is as conscious with business. Overall the vibe is great every time. Plus there is live music on the weekends."

"Can't begin to describe how great this place is. Veteran-owned to start. Everyone including the patrons made me feel like I've been there my entire life. Unbelievable drink selection including local beer and wine, and sodas. Then there's the food...what a pleasant surprise!! I popped in on a long trip home, I've visited Julian plenty, but decided to check this spot out. The corn chowder was just what the doctor ordered on a cold night. I had no intentions of getting a pizza since I had some the night before, but the moment they brought out a pie to a guy sitting near me, I asked for one as well. True bar style pizza, and if you've ever been to New England, you know that's a compliment. Thin, pan style. The type of pizza you could easily have an entire one to yourself and not feel guilty. You can tell all the ingredients were carefully selected to make for a delicious experience. So between the food, the ambience, and the treatment from both the folks working there and the people dining there...it's a clear 10/10!!!"

"It's been a while since I've been back here, but the return was worth it! A proud, veteran-owned joint with great pizzas, burgers and American fare! Nearly all of their drinks are local (even the sodas!), there's occasional live music & events, and lots of space to sit around, inside & out. Plus it's not nearly as packed as similar options in Julian, and in a good central spot to all of the apple orchards, wineries, cider mills and antique shops. If you're driving by, give 'em a try!"
