"It was our first time going to this tea house. It's quaint and sweet; the food was very good; the scone was great. We enjoyed the variety of tea choices. The service was excellent. We will definitely go back and will bring friends with us."

"It's one of the must-do experiences in San Juan Capistrano. The menu featured a variety of items such as entrees, weekend brunches, desserts, and of course the high tea experiences. We ordered the English Pasti which was rich in flavor and well prepared. We chose the Garden Tea as our High Tea Experience. Some of the items were delicious some were mediocre. In my opinion the High Tea's are greatly overpriced. Service was friendly and they served my friend whose Birthday it was a Birthday Cake which was greatly appreciated."

"My experience at The Tea House on Los Rios was amazing. Our server, Daniel, was kind, considerate and prompt with everything. He explained what everything in the menu was and he treated myself and my friend with respect. Honestly, all of the staff as absolutely wonderful. The food and tea were wonderful. "Was a lovely afternoon. Reservations are a MUST. Very crowded. Does a nice gluten free tea! Didn't understand why they served the scone first, before the salad and sandwiches. That did not make any sense. But the "Mission Tea" was plenty of food and filling. I have certainly had much better and fresher quality but still tasty and a fun day for a special occasion! Take the train and you've got a hassle free day trip!! Going back for other good next time. Want to try the Shephard's pie!"

"We went for a birthday celebration. Our server was very sweet and attentive and made us feel special. We had one of the high tea selections. The food was very good and we were able to request all vegetarian sandwiches. The tea menu is extensive. All the charming decorations make this place very unique. Lots of good photo opportunities! I would recommend this place."
