"Artisanal style slice spot serving classic pizzas as well as interesting and creative combinations . High quality ingredients and the dough is unique and delicious. My go to is the Sisig slice but the classic cheese is always good. Merch is on point and it’s located inside a cool food court / market."

"These guys are located inside of Market on 8th food hall in National City, and their pizza is worth seeking out. I tried their special of the day - it was Chicago-style with chicken, mushrooms, chili peppers and salsa - and it was delicious. The staff (owner?) was super cool and gave me good recommendations about the options they had that day, their t-shirts are killer, and they stock New York Seltzer, which is not that easy to find these days. Even the pagers (pictured) they use to let you know your order is ready are cool - light and compact, and not the size of a drone like most places. While you wait you can check out the other vendors (mostly food) at the food hall, and grab a coffee, beer, kombucha or other beverage. There are picnic-style tables right outside Pizza Kaiju, as well as much more seating throughout the rest of the hall."
