"This had to be our top pick of 4 consecutive nights of fabulous meals. Atmosphere and service was fun and casual and the food exceeded our high expectations. We started by sharing the Rebecca Fried Pizza- cut into 4 slices. It was surprisingly light then we had the vegan mushroom penne and the butterfish with roasted vegetables. Our dinner dates split a pear salad with burrata and the eggplant parmigiana. Everything tasted bright and fresh. We ended with the 3 small cannolis and the generous slice of a not too sweet cheesecake. The Aperol Spritz was a perfect starter."

"My husband and I often have a date night whenever we are on vacation with our kids and we often choose to come and dine at “The Garage” when we are in Coronado. The food is always so tasty and the portions are huge! The only downside is that it’s often quite loud. It’s usually not an issue, but if there is a large group inside with you, then it can make having a conversation a little difficult. My husband loves the cioppino which I have to avoid due to allergies but their seasonal gnocchi specials are incredible (butternut squash gnocchi with pancetta pictured from a few years ago). Don’t pass up the bruschetta or the beet salad…and expect to take home leftovers!"

"Couldn’t recommend more. Ideal for gluten-free, dairy-free eaters. I ordered a custom pizza with their gluten free crust and vegan mozzarella, and I was so pleasantly surprised by how good it was. The cheese was melty and the crust tasted like normal crust. It was just as good when I heated up my leftovers the next day too. The staff really made the evening the best though. They were so attentive and caring. A bus boy came and noticed I was nearly out of ice for my soda and immediately offered to freshen my glass. And when our pizzas arrived, someone came up to the table to offer fresh cheese to my friend but knew not to ask me since I had told another person I was dairy-free. How many people have such great attention to detail? Fun, casual environment. Would be great for date nights, evenings with friends, or celebrations. I will absolutely be back."

"First time coming here with my friend! :) We ordered a plate of focaccia, vegetarian pizza and eggplant parmigiana! Omg, they were so fresh and delicious! If you are looking for a good Italian restaurant near the beach, this is the to go place for sure! We enjoyed the retro environment and received a friendly service! :) Cheers"
