"Absolutely terrible and nothing like the other locations. Wildly slow and lots of confusion with clearly untrained staff about who is supposed to do what. My shot also sat for exactly 14 minutes (!!!!!), oat milk steamed for less than 6 seconds. Slopped together and voila $14 dollars for 2 watery, lukewarm “flat whites.” Cups are paper thin and lids leak and do not fit."

"In Short, It’s a good coffee shop in a good location. With a few more details, Coffee is good. Matcha Latte was good did not need to be sweetened. They seemed to have a good amount of pastries in glass box which protects it and looks good too. Only problem was it had a tiny bug flying around in it. Wasn’t a deterrent honestly. It happens. I tried the almond croissant. The paste inside was amazing and very delicious, but the croissant was a bit too crunchy and hard in some bites which made me think that it was a bit old. It was still good but the coffee and other factors it keeps this place at 4 stars. Decor looked clean and bright and fresh. Staff was helpful and friendly. I like the standing room area. Maybe add another standing bench like that outside too. Just an idea. Location was great for people watching or doing some work (if you find a seat) while being close to the pier and the beach or just meeting someone and hanging out. Also pretty central to grab coffee and continue walking alongside the green belt or boardwalk. Anyway I enjoyed this spot."

"My experience at Verve Coffee Roasters in Manhattan Beach was unfortunately less than satisfactory. The café was bustling with customers, which seemed like a positive sign at first, indicating its popularity. However, this led to a crowded and noisy environment, making it challenging to find a comfortable spot to enjoy my coffee. One of the main drawbacks was the service provided by the staff. They appeared to be quite slow and, regrettably, rather obnoxious in their demeanor. It felt as though they were not attentive to the needs of customers, which detracted from the overall experience. Moreover, I found the prices of the drinks to be rather steep, especially considering that the quality did not match the cost. The drinks were underwhelming and failed to justify the high price tag. While Verve Coffee Roasters may have a vibrant atmosphere and a loyal customer base, my visit left me disappointed. The combination of slow and inattentive service, along with overpriced and mediocre drinks, didn't make for a memorable coffee experience. As much as I wanted to love it, I'm afraid I won't be returning anytime soon."

"First time trying out Verve! I ordered a cold brew. Staff was friendly. Inside feels comfortable, although not much indoor seating. More outdoor seating available. Bathrooms available to customers. Street parking can definitely be tough in the area."

"Ordered an ice Colombian by the cup and really enjoyed it. There was wine note and was balanced with sweetness. The shop has ample sunlight. Restroom is also available. Great place to chill for a bit before and after visiting the beach!"
