"Small restaurant with a large selection of southern eats. We tried the gumbo, shrimp po boy, boudin, and hush puppies. Gumbo texture was great but on the verge of inedibly salty. Boudin was a nice treat since it's not something you see often in restaurants! It's a charming place to get a bite but probably best to get it to go. The restaurant is not designed for large groups and is not very cozy to want to enjoy the meal there."

"They definitely do not shy away from spices, too spicy for my husband though buy I like it. We got the 2 quarter chicken (a lil on the dry side) with potato salad and jambalaya and they were good and tingly. Chicken sandwich was packaged really well and assembled in a way that's great for picture!"

"Wow! I was pleasantly surprised by this place. Their collard greens were a surprise because I have never had them before but they were so yummy. The candied yams are delicious and the catfish was delightful. I also had some gumbo for the first time, it was salty for my tasty but still really good. I would definitely recommend this place fir some quality Cajun food."
