"We’ve been customers since Nancy & family took this place over. Used to be a great place with good food and service. Well, everything changes and this place has slid downhill. The food is mediocre at best and the employees act like they wanted to be somewhere else. Considering the stiff prices the only thing it has going for it is the view. Add to this the fact that you cannot sit inside if you come within a half hour of closing! They only tell you this after you’ve paid. Needless to say, we and our usual group of eight will not be returning."

"This is one of my favorite places to go to. The outside seating is ideal because it overlooks the lake. I enjoy getting my regular, chicken fried steak with hashbrowns and sourdough toast with a coffee. It's always consistent and satisfying. The gravy is incredibly delicious. The staff is very kind. It's always a pleasure when speaking with them. Something I adore when going here is the little bird that swoops down when you are near the end of your meal, waiting for some of your breakfast leftovers."
