"Had a great Kenwood audio system installed in my truck. Sounds and looks great at a more than fair price. Good deal. I will return for my next stereo needs. Good job!"
"Came here to have something installed in my vehicle. Had a great experience with Kevin and Julian, the manager and associate. I left and immediately messed it up, returned and Kevin was nothing but helpful and nice. I definitely recommend this place and plan on returning."
"After realizing they didn't have the stereo I wanted, I purchased a unit elsewhere and asked if they would install it for me. I was quoted $100 plus parts. To be clear, I was not told $100 an hour, rather the install would cost $100 plus parts. When I picked up the unit, I was billed $336 dollars for the installation. I later learned, they do not produce or provide an invoice showing parts and labor, just the receipt that comes out of their register. After my sticker shock, I went out to my car. I immediately noticed that the head unit was not properly fit in the double din slot. In fact, it was set back about one-half inch or more and had a grommet/fascia surrounding the unit which also did not fit (you can see daylight around the unit). For reasons I didn't understand, the unit was tilted up quite a bit, which partially concealed the physical buttons on the top of the unit. I was dissatisfied, but figured I'd drive home and mull it over. When I got home, I switched off the engine to have a better look at the install and listen to how the new JVC sounds. I switched the ignition key from "on" to "acc". Oddly the acc position had the entire dashboard indicators lit up, the dashboard should be dark in the acc position? The next day I drove down there and they "fixed" the problem with the wiring so the acc position worked as it should. The following day I pulled the center console to see why the unit was so out of whack and leaning back in the double din slot. To my dismay, they had used a set of mounting plates I left with them "only if the fitment is right", which it clearly was not because only two of four screws were used to fasten the radio to the car and they literally pulled on it so it faced the double din hole as best it could. The grommet/fascia was also clearly some left over part, it too only had two of four screws in it because it is not made to fit the JVC to my vehicle. In other words, they simply did not buy the correct installation kit, instead improvised with old parts. Likewise, they reused my old steering wheel interface control which had been attached to my previous aftermarket stereo. Before the install they told me specifically that they would not use it, but instead they did (which has now comprised the functionality of the steering wheel controls). I also noticed a rats nest of wires on the rear seat passenger floorboard, not properly bundled or secured, just a bunch of wires in a mess where someone's feet should go? Lastly, I noticed that they kept my Pioneer head unit that was replaced by the JVC install, along with the JVC manual (and who knows what else?). At $326 dollars, with no new parts purchased to install my JVC head unit, I would expect a professional installation, not some hack job that is both electrically and physically wrong in so many ways. I was embarrassed to admit to my friends how many things were wrong for such a high priced installation. So I drove back to politely address the issues. I did get my Pioneer head unit back and the JVC manual, but no one said why they kept it and made no excuses for keeping it? When I began to list the specific installation issues, I couldn't get a sentence out without being talked over. Somehow it was my fault it went so wrong (saying I told them to do this, do that, etc.). Go figure. In the end, they asked me what I wanted "because it is important to maintain a good customer relationship". I asked for $150 refund, so I can correct the sloppy installation. The money came flying out of the register and I left the store. Sad situation as I had such high expectations."
