"Man that was some awful food. An hour after eating there and I feel like my stomach is being smashed through a pasta maker. I didn’t try any of the sushi; only fried/grilled stuff, like teriyaki meat and vegetable tempura. Hard to mess that up, but they super did. To be fair, the service was outstanding. Very attentive staff. If their food was at half the level of their service, this place would be top notch. As it stands I’ll only be going back if I want a low budget colon cleansing"

"Ate here for my fourth time in the last few years. Got the bento box with teriyaki salmon and California rolls. The salad was great, as was the salmon. But my son and I were very disappointed with the rolls. They tasted like Mayo and rice, no crab taste at all. The rice also seemed soggy which is probably from the excessive mayo. I've noticed this lately at 2 other sushi restaurants that we frequent. One in Capitola the other in Monterey. It made me wonder if they've all started buying a premix from the restaurant supply company. I asked our waitress today and she assured me that they mix it themselves but said there is also the option of asking for snow crab. Extra charge of course, but I think I'll try that next time and tell them to go light on the mayo. The atmosphere is very nice, most tables were full but they seated us right away. And the food presentation is great. If you don't care about extra mayo, I'd definitely recommend this place."

"I got the spiderman roll and it was good! I also recommend the chicken teriyaki roll, can't go wrong with that! This is our favorite sushi place. It's delicious with surprisingly low prices. The waiter that served us last Saturday at 4 pm was fast and efficient even though she was the only one! Get them some help, manager/owner!!! Whether you dine in, take out or deliver this place is worth it."
