"Well Ive been looking for an authentic old school taste of Mexican goods with unsatisfactory results. Until a couple weeks ago I overheard 2 guys as they left the restaurant "DUDE, that was really good!" So I read all the 5 star reviews, checked out the full menu and low prices, and ordered Chicken enchilada, rice and beans, and a soft shredded beef taco. Wow! It's definitely 5 stars! Food was piping hot, fresh, the taste I've been looking for! You get large portions, fresh chips and salsa, I cleaned my plate! And for less than $15 I got a great tasting filling dinner. And the cashier was very friendly. You MUST try it! I'm going back tonight!"

"The reason for my low rating is because I saw the waitress/hostess sneeze into the air without covering her face then wiped her nose with her arm. She did not wash her hands after which is unclean and unacceptable especially working around food and serving customers. I picked up my breakfast order I had called in this morning and sadly I threw it away because of what I witnessed. Sadly this restaurant used to be one of my favorite places to eat but after witnessing that incident I will have to find a new place to eat where the workers follow hygienic rules."

"I'm so happy to find my new favorite Mexican restaurant! I moved into the area three years ago. I tried a few other Mexican restaurants that didn't impress me. I Google Map searched "best Mexican restaurants near me" and found Rancho Viejo. I found my favorite dish, the #16 combo, a chili verde burrito, chicken taco with rice, and beans. I started with the chips & salsa and rice & beans, which will speak to the quality of most restaurants. They were very good! I tasted the chili verde burrito, and I knew I found my new favorite restaurant. The pork was tender and delicious! A great and filling meal for $15, less than a fast food, very impressive!"

"Chili Verde Burrito served wet is absolutely amazing! I've been coming here for 30 years whenever I visit this area, and never disappointed. Lucrative runs a clean, friendly, and very tasty operation. Seldom crowded, but always with high quality food at very reasonable pricing."
