"Excellent local place. Food is good and they have gigantic portions. The only thing is that during peak lunch and dinner time the service can be a bit slow so just plan to go there on a night that you have plenty of time. Well worth it if you have time to stay and take in the atmosphere! Love the calamari steak sandwich!"
"Maybe it was a bad night, but that was an awful patty melt. Partially green tomatoes, super-inconsistent onions (some burnt/some still crisp). The patty was weirdly gritty and it wasn’t so much moist as it was wet with something that wasn’t beef fat. The coleslaw was just weird - orange juice and raisins? Maybe that’s somebody’s jam, pun intended, but it was like eating the joke people make about white people food. Finally, the draft lines tasted dirty - worst glass of Sierra Nevada Pale Ale I’ve ever had. The fries were good for the few minutes before they got a little cool. Great atmosphere and staff, so not 1 star."
"If you find yourself visiting Watsonville and your hungry, stop by this little bar/restaurant and be prepared to have a great meal. There is plenty to choose from no matter how pickey your crew is, and the serving size is huge."
"This is a hidden gem. This restaurant has a great welcoming environment. My boyfriend and I ordered the rib eye steak meal. Our steaks were cooked perfectly. The food and service were excellent. We shall me coming back to this place again when we head this way."
"Food was great and server was nice. I think they were understaffed. A few loud people made it noisier than it needed to be. That said, fish and chips was great, coleslaw was amazing, I'd definitely go back and recommend the place"
