"Sarku is the go to place at Valley Fair food court. Nevermind the efficient order taking and assembly line cooking on top of counter, The Teriyaki chicken with half- half rice & noodles is always fresh, hot and tasty!"

"This is usually the place I go to everytime I go to this mall due to affordable prices since it's considered fast food and also the quality of the food. Not really authentic Japanese food, but this is good for coming by if you're hungry. Also the fact that the amount of protein of meats are probably high due to serving large portions. The taste of the chicken is alright, but vegetables taste kinda bland. I will still eat here though."

"I have eaten many times at Sarku Japan restaurant in Valley Fair Mall San Jose/Santa Clara in the “food court” as people used to call it. I love the chicken teriyaki meal with noodles (or white rice) and vegetables. The meal is prepared right in front of you while you wait. The chicken teriyaki has always been flavored perfectly and cooked just right. I am not overly fond of the vegetable, so I wish management would improve that. The price is fair. Sarku Japan is popular, but if there is a line, it moves quickly. The food court can be busy at times, but there is always available seating. The combo meal comes either with white rice or noodles. I prefer the flavored noodles. And the vegetables are optional, I believe. A drink costs extra or they have free tap water and ice."

"Japanese fastfood at the foodcourt of Westfield Valley fair. they have chicken teriyaki, bento boxes with dumpling, vegetables and california maki. service is fast. Fresh food. Taste is just ok, maybe need a little bit of sauce or seasoning ."
