"One of the top 3 steakhouses I have ever been to in my 44 year old life. The quality of the meat was spectacular. I have never seen so much selection of meats and everything we ate was incredible. Each person would take a bite, ule, then laugh. The truffle risotto! My goodness!! The service was warm, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable. The folks there made the experience. Desserts, exceptional!! World class steakhouse. All 6 of us said the same thing. We can't wait to get back."

"Wow. We had an incredible meal at Alexander's Steakhouse! You feel it's going to be special visit from the moment you check in. And the service was wonderful. Patient and knowledgeable explaining the menu, very cordial, and prompt. A sophisticated dining room setting with the lights dimmed just so. Besides the palate cleansing watermelon bite with balsamic vinegar, and incredibly tasty bread basket and salted, whipped butter, we enjoyed a couple appetizers and three meals. The lobster bisque was sweet and savory with small chunks of lobster. Honestly, the bisque at another well known, new steakhouse in San Jose gives a lot more lobster. The beet salad was very nice and refreshing. But the reason for the five stars were the main courses. Perfectly prepared dry aged porterhouse and new york steaks melted in your mouth, yet had just enough texture. The mero sea bass was a large serving, flaky, soft, and delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed the food dancing in our mouths. The mashed potatoes and asparagus topped with crab simply amplified the fun. We were too stuffed for desert, but even so, they provided a full, nice, fluffy serving of guava cotton candy. Special occasions for meat lovers, this is your mecca."
