Pana Venezuelan Food

"I love Pana!! It’s a hidden gem of the Central Coast. Serving up amazing Venezuelan food, the arepas are so good! If you’ve never tried an arepa you are missing out… I recommend the Reina Pepiada (shredded chicken, avocados, and mayo) or El Tiburon (shrimp, mozzarella, avocado) and of course an order of delicious fried plantains! I discovered the Pana Food Truck at the CSUMB campus (they are most often in Santa Cruz) and I was pleased to find that they have a location at the SAP Center in San Jose. Highly Recommend!"

"Pana is our go to restaurant for downtown Santa Cruz. The food is always delicious and the staff is always incredibly friendly and helpful. and you can’t beat the price! It’s also great to be able to enjoy your food in the fun atmosphere of Abbott Square. As a 30 year vegetarian, it’s nice to have options."

"LOVE this spot! was visiting santa cruz for a week & ended up coming here three (!) times, it was that good. first time I got the reina pepiada with the guasaca sauce and it was delicious, the chicken was so moist and the arepas were super filled. went back the next day for lunch with some friends and got a papaya juice as well which was really good. there's a big outdoor area to eat in, so this spot is great for groups. the folks who work there are really kind and the service is fast, 10/10 will be back here next time i'm in santa cruz :))"

"Went to Pana with my cousin about 8pm, not realizing they were closing. A employee named Dan said he could still make us something to eat. We placed our order and Dan answered all my questions as it was my first time. We went to another part of the building while we sipped on some drinks and enjoyed the vibe. To our surprise, we looked up and saw Dan and his coworker delivering our order to us! It was so refreshing to see an establishment go over and beyond expectations! The food was so fantastic, we return again yesterday to eat it again. I have absolutely fallen in love with this restaurant and it's quality, crafted cuisine. This will be a must when I'm in the area."
