"After going here over the weekend, we thought, this restaurant is amazing. But returning here on Monday, we realized we just got lucky. Our experience here was truly one of the worst ever. The food was very clearly old and reheated, being an uneven temperature throughout, and lacking in taste. It was dry and made me question how long it had been in the refrigerator before they decided to serve it. It seems as though they serve nice food over the weekend, only to give weekday guests the disgusting leftovers. And what makes it worse is that we were celebrating a birthday, too. Truly disappointed in our time at this restaurant, and we'd advise everyone to spend their money somewhere else (the high prices certainly didn't match the low quality)."

"wowowow this place was sooo cool. i got the grilled salmon with mashed potatoes, and it was delicious. the flavors were very nice, and the atmosphere was so pretty. a bit pricy, but it’s definitely worth it. it’s also located in carmel-by-the-sea, so it’s a great place to have a meal during a day trip here! definitely recommend for some delicious food and a great experience!"

"First of, the restaurant host / manager and the staff were amazing. Friendly and met you with a smile and willing to move things around to accommodate you! Once seated, I was greeted with complementary champagne and spoon of caviar (delicious)! I ordered the fried calamari (must try) and for the main course Halibut crusted with almond and rice. Finished with crème brûlée! The food was amazing, and the atmosphere! Highly recommended if you are around the area (or drive to it) it is worth it!!"

"We went here for lunch last week and ordered everything vegetarian! Strange for a place like Catch, but the food was awesome! We ordered the Mediterranean Pizza and Vegetarian Linguini. The pizza was deliciously juicy. Garlic sauce in the Linguini was superb too! The pizza is big enough for 4. From the kids menu, we ordered Chicken and Steamed Rice which was good too. All in all, Catch surprised me with vegetarian food. Will come back for sea food again!"

"This place was cool, we really liked the location, decor, staff, manager, and most of all, the food. The champagne and caviar was a nice touch, and it was complimentary. We chose fish and chips and fish tacos for a light lunch, we were we not disappointed. The tacos were very tasty. As a matter of fact, everything on the plate was. I had the fish and chips, and I loved it. It was not your regular greasy battered fish ànd soggy fries. It was a cut above! My compliments to the chef. Thanks to management and staff for a great experience."
