About Us
Aqui Willow Glen is a vibrant bar and restaurant located at 1145 Lincoln Avenue in San Jose, California. Our menu features delicious dishes such as slow roasted natural pork carnitas with chipotle BBQ sauce, pumpkin seed taquitos, olive oil mashed Yukon potatoes, pozole escabeche salsa, black beans, sour cream, and cotija cheese. We also offer refreshing cocktails like the Industrial Strength Margarita™, made with Grey Goose Essences white peach & rosemary vodka, Absolut pear vodka, lemon-lime soda, and natural passion-orange-guava and prickly-pear juice.
At Aqui Willow Glen, we use Mary’s Free Range, air chilled, natural chicken breasts that are NAE (no antibiotics ever) in dishes like Jerk Spice Chicken Enchiladas and Free Range Chicken Parmigiana. The taste often feels less than fresh and somewhat processed, lacking a certain authenticity, and farm-to-table taste. I mainly go for the company of my group, and the lively nighttime atmosphere also makes it enjoyable. Unfortunately, it's not my go-to choice, given my appreciation for authentic Mexican cuisine after living in Southern California for over a decade. The service is consistently friendly and the prices are reasonable, nonetheless."
