Sushi Day

"I decided to try this sushi spot via a recommendation from a friend. This sushi spot is more of a takeout sushi than to sit down and eat type of spot. It’s shared with a market and pizza place. I ordered the Ichiban Roll, Lion King Roll, and the Snow Dragon Roll. All three rolls tasted very flavorful. However, I felt like the quality of the fish isn’t as good compared to other sushi restaurants. The Ichiban roll was good but I had to take out the tuna since the quality of it isn’t how I usually expect the tuna to be. Lion king roll was good but the salmon was a bit over cooked. Snow dragon had scallops on top which tasted good for a few bites but later on I felt like it was a bit too much. The house salad surprisingly had a lot of avocado which I also added on to my sushi. The price for this spot is more affordable compared to other sushi spots. Service was friendly."

"One of the hidden spots for Sushi in San Jose. This place does not look all that fancy or appealing. However, the food quality and the price are much better than what the store looks like from the outside. Salmon sashimi is thicker than other places around. If you pay by cash, you will get some nice discounts."

"The best Sushi to go spot in the bay area. There are 2 tables at the location to sit and eat. Great prices and quality seafood. They don't over Rice the rolls, like most sushi places. Everything is so good. My favorite is Hamachi (yellow tail) Deluxe roll"

"Love this place, the sushi tastes great and the prices are unbeatable. $4 handrolls, where else do they even offer that?! Anyways, my go to are the spider and california rolls as well as the orange dragon baked. The ingredients taste great but sometimes the rice is a lil mushy, but that’s okay. It is takeout only and there are only 2-3 chefs so it’s best to order ahead as there can be a wait. Enjoy!"
