"Service was super quick. Ordered take away. Ordered bisi bele bath, idli and vada combo, idiyappam and kurma. Kurma was very tasty. Sambhar was very good. And bisi bele bath was also very good. They served that with boondi and raita on the side."
"Finally, I stopped by to check out this place. There is one small table reserved for seniors inside, and two or three small tables on the sidewalk. So, take out is my recommendation! Ordered one mini tiffin and one idly pongal combo. The order was ready in 6 minutes or less. I enjoyed the dishes and recommend this place! I will definitely come again for a takeout!"
"It’s a to-go place, can eat in the car if you like, no place to sit and eat. Their Idli, Sambar, Medu Vada and Masala Vada are really really good! Not to forget the filter coffee. No need to look elsewhere!"
"Nothing comes close to this - pretty close to home cooked south Indian vegetarian. I like that they use all organic and high quality ingredients. This is mostly a take out place, but have a couple tables outside and a table inside for senior citizens. They have Togo curries for $18 for 2 or $10 for one - for 24oz containers. These are flash frozen and then refrigerated so they last 3-4 days more than the sell by date on the label. Buy 6 curries/sambar for $54 (no sales tax since food item) and u are set for a week. Their Idly batter seems expensive compared to others sold in grocery stores but the quality of the batter is much better and worth it. Their Saturday hot lunch with beans usli is also value for money. One lunch feeds 2 folks. Note that the hot lunch is only on Saturday and Sundays. Saturday lunch has the beans usli which is better than the Sunday one. But they run out fast, so order typically before 9am on Saturday and luck up by 11:15 or 11:30am. The hit lunch is $22 without rice."
"We took the opportunity to visit this brand new location off Almaden Expressway today. We had the pleasure of seeing and meeting the one and only Mr. Jay who was perfectly doing what he enjoys most. We ordered a couple items and they all were amazing. We are so glad we have this option for our authentic south Indian cravings. Sambhar, Chutney and Filter Coffee were totally noteworthy of its taste and simplicity. Indoor seating is available as well as outdoor seating in the patio. The place is very clean and tidy, inside and out. We were pleasantly greeted by Siva who handles the counter and interacts with taking orders and handling the pickup orders. I would highly recommend this place for it's convenience and offerings it has for South Indian food in San Jose."
