"This restaurant is nice, but the food is average. Be prepared for long wait times, especially if you want indoor seating. I visited the Roseville location before and found the food there to be better. While the food here is decent, it doesn't have that wow factor. The quantity of chutneys provided is minimal, but they're willing to refill if requested. Outdoor seating is disorganized and dependent on the crowd. However, I did enjoy their filter coffee with jaggery powder. We ordered masala dosa, onion masala dosa and idli vada combo. The idli was soft, and the vada was crispy, which was a plus. Overall, the food experience is satisfactory but not exceptional. The staff is nice."

"Disappointing Experience at Mylapore Restaurant: Long Wait, Average Food, and Cramped Seating While I was excited to try this restaurant, my experience ultimately fell short of expectations. The lengthy wait time was frustrating. The food was above average and mostly good. The major disappointment was the cramped and noisy atmosphere. The close proximity of tables made it impossible to have a private conversation, as neighboring diners' voices easily carried. Overall, I wouldn't highly recommend this restaurant based on my visit. Good for the occasional visit if you have some time and $$ to spare."

"The food here is the best South Indian food I have had in the Bay Area. There was a big queue and waiting but their service is very fast so you get the table relatively quickly. We tried thatte idli, medu vada, mylapore special dosa and ghee podi masala dosa. Everything tasted great, I would highly recommend everything except the medu vada. The service was quick and the staff is polite and friendly. There’s plenty of parking available outside the restaurant. We ended the meal with hot badam milk which was excellent. Overall, very highly recommended."

"Delicious Tamil food!!! They gave us an estimate of 45 min wait but we only needed to wait 20 minutes for a table. The food came very quickly and was hot and delicious! It tastes just like the food you would get in India. The filter coffee was excellent! Well worth the visit if you're in Pleasanton."
