"Melissa is amazing! Not only is she a wonderful bartender, but she is also a great server! She is awesome! She remembers her customers and the nuances of allergies, likes and dislikes! She is the only one I ever see running to provide the best service and experience! She is a gem! The food and ambiance is amazing! The food is always fresh and consistent! Everyone is always pleasant, efficient and has a sense of urgency to accommodate their customers! I love Toro Sushi, always my go to!"
"Wow! Our family Valentine's dinner at Sushi Toro in Fremont was an absolute delight! The Love Boat, meant for two, generously fed our family of 4 with its delightful variety of rolls and sashimi. Not only did we get our money's worth, but the presentation with the dry ice effect added a magical touch to our dining experience. Despite the bustling Valentine's crowd, the service was quick, and the vibes were fantastic. Even with a 25-minute wait (which wasn't bad considering no reservations were allowed for Valentine's), the entire experience was worth every moment. Highly recommend"
"I give this place a 3 stars review. This was my first time trying this place. As you walk in, you have an option to choose sushi or grill. I preferred grill bc you can order sushi as well. But if you choose sushi, you will be guided to a different table without a grill. I ordered a set of two people for 85 bucks plus unagi and samurai rolls to start off of. To be honest the freshess of beef was quite decent. But the portion for that set is more like one person only. Toro beef was the best out of all the beef in that set. The beef in the Claypot rice was a bit overcooked and it's chewy. The sushi rolls I have to say it's not bad. I ordered a plate of filet mignon and toro again for about 40 bucks extra. Overall the prices for the sets and grill are over priced. I was tempted to try the add on one for 99 bucks but I already knew it would not be worth it. The services were great though. If you asked me if I would come back, probably not. But if I did, I would try their sushi and sashimi."
"Great sushi & grill concept. Sushi has always been very well made nigiris & rolls. For grill, the clay pot wagyu rice didn't disappoint and go for the gold line kalbi"
"this review is for non-grill experience Immediately seated on a Saturday evening. Our fave was the Tokyo roll--juicy and lots of sauce. Decent portions for value. Ambience is certainly great for large parties and dates--can seem loud but very lively. Extremely difficult parking but massive plaza lot."
