Reviews of Costco Wholesale
"Over the years my wife and I have enjoyed shopping at Costco for many reasons. These days our physical abilities are limited. So, using their electric mobility shopping carts helps us to get around these warehouse-sized stores more easily. Also, the folks who work here are always friendly and helpful. Their customer service is amazing as well. The only thing that I hope Costco would do is for shoppers with a smaller household i.e. (who are single or have a two-person family) is to also have perishable food items that come in smaller portioned packaging. Since we live in a small apartment, our storage space is minimal and our refrigerator doesn't have a large freezer."
"Lately, costco in Antioch has been dropping the ball. I'm not sure if they're under new management or what. Today, when I went there, I was in a great mood and left in a bad one. There was a female associate yelling at customers and herding them like cattle toward the other end of the store. She had the most miserable look on her face and was irritated whenever anyone asked her anything. It was incredibly rude, vulgar, and unprofessional. When I finally got to the register, the man ringing me up didn't even acknowledge my existence. He rang up 4 items before I said "hello how are you?" It was at that point that he even looked at me. He was literally looking past me and over my head prior to that. I am absolutely shocked at what is acceptable as an employee in 2024. I mean, you are getting PAID to do a JOB. You are not doing anyone a FAVOR by going to work, and people going into an establishment expect BASIC and COMMON courtesy. It's one thing when you encounter a single rude employee, but it's entirely a different experience when it seems like there is just absolutely no standard for service there anymore. I'll drive all the way to concord to have a pleasant experience and not leave an establishment feeling drained and brought down while spending a large amount of money. This was my third poor experience in 2 weeks. Done!"
"I love Costco. This one’s pretty good, it has all the basic essentials in bulk and it stays well organized. They got a gas station too with very cheap prices, but the line can get pretty long at times."
"It’s so funny how when a lady asked me to apply for an executive club membership, I said “no” because I don’t come here that often. I’ve been coming here a lot more and more than what I said to the lady when I first applied for membership years ago. I really love that there is a Costco close to me. This Costco has great selection of items and I always get what I need. The one con about going to Costco is everything is big. What I mean is if I need just a carton of milk it comes in a pack of three. But the price is right. Costco always has great holiday items. Costumer service is ok. I rarely need to ask for help. Unless I go to Optical or their foodcourt area and then when you check out. That’s the only real reaction with employees at Costco."
"11/17/23 Went in today to scout out items for Thanksgiving dinner, plenty of turkeys, never seen so many options! Tried out the brined and seasoned Spatchcocked turkey and it turned out great! I have to say that after my September comments, there were at least double the picnic tables in the Food Court earlier this month! 9/23/22 The Food Court Area really should double the tables and seating available, though the check out counter on the end usually serves the purpose for me and has paper towels ready for clean up!"
