"Best sandwiches in Los Altos, but sure wish it was open longer (and on Sundays)."
"Great stop for breakfast or lunch! Owner is very friendly and they turn out some sammies!! Must try!"
"Alotta's is a little out of the way sandwich shop that focuses on freshly prepped each day food and a friendly smile and conversation. The presence of this sandwich shop is strong enough that I was recommended this place while flying into San Jose airport. I drove the 25 mins into the quiet streets of Palo Alto to taste the hype. The hype is real. Along with great food there is a Santa Margherita to Porto Fino mural on the wall (attached for your viewing pleasure). I recommend the meatball sandwich and a bag of spiced nacho cheese Joe chips."
"This place is EXCEEDINGLY overpriced. Ordered: 1 meatball sandwich 1 Italian sausage Total was $29.95 Which is a reasonable order for an Italian style deli. I received two loaves of tomato flavored bread and I wish that was more of hyperbole. The meatball sub was one meatball cut into slivers, so sparse that the bread was touching. $13 before taxes. The sausage sandwich was similarly half of one sausage cut into slivers with a slice of cheese. Again, not even enough meat to keep the bread from touching. Flavors were at average, not notably better than Subway meatballs in texture or sauce flavor. So hard I am attaching pictures judge for yourself whether this is a $ does it trader Joe's over here? That's just 30 meal. I am absolutely flabbergasted at how this can be a $13 sandwich, and how it's doubled in price in 3 years. The business has been around for 37 years apparently."
"Been coming here for 20years. Mike the owner Is awesome and the fresh rolls are amazing. I just miss the girl that worked here years ago that would put the added mayo/mustard and condiments I requested and was willing to pay extra for because the current staff doesn't apparently. I've been 3x the last 2months and my requests for extra mayo/mustard have been ignored. Sandwich is still good....bit I wish I could get it made how I order it."
