Yo Sushi

"I love this place. It's my favorite sushi place. I live in Vacaville, and I put my order online and pickup my order in store. I got home, and I was missing an item in my order. I was missing the Tuna Tataki appetizer. I called the store and I was put on hold by the guy who answered the phone. He came back on 3 minutes later to tell me that apparently, they didn't put one of my items in. He said I can come back for it or get store credit. I'm already home and it's raining. I'm not going to come back for one item. I asked if I can get a refund back in my card and he said yeah then hung up. He didn't apologize for missing an item in my order, and no confirmation of the refund. The food was okay. It looked like it was ready for at least 10 minutes, and I was already 10 minutes early on my pickup time. They weren't busy. They had one car in the parking lot. The least you can do is apologize. Update: They never gave me a refund for the missing item."

"Sadly I have to rate this low. I have loved this place for so long. But the food wasn't good. We got home and had the wrong rolls. Went back to get the right order. The sushi had a fishy smell, which is concerning when it comes to sushi. They were slightly slimy and it just wasn't what it use to be. This place is to give you great food at a good price. Now I ended up hungry after eating a meal..."

"My daughter picked this place for 10th birthday. They have a wide selection of all different types of sushi. Their menu is on the wall and full of pictures and an easy to understand description of what is in their dishes. The staff was helpful in explaining things for first timers like us. We ordered to go. The inside atmosphere was mom and pop-ish in all the good ways. Nothing fancy but pleasant. They have an outdoor seating area as well as indoor, but we did not stay to eat. The food was delicious and filling."
