"The food and service here were amazing last night! The Appetizers, Beet Salad and best of all the Grilled Double Cut Pork Chop was the best I've had! The Chop was cooked perfectly, sauce and sides outstanding!"

"Met a friend for drinks and apps. Wood Tavern is always consistently good with food and service! We were able to sit by the window at around 3: 30p on a Thursday to have some wine and a little board of medleys... rabbit terrine, chicken pate, some nice cheese (forgot the name!), cranberries, sliced apples, almonds drizzled with honey, Dijon with pickled onions and a side of french fries. Love this place!"

"The Wood Tavern...every bit of 5 stars and I'll tell you why. My pal, Hellbinkus Hinklestick needed help with his Lyondell-Rinkglouter and I'm the only one this side of Colorado that knows how to realign the inner walfter bearings, and he said he'd take me to the best steakhouse in the bay area for helping him out. Well, I realigned the bearings and saved the day because that thing was about to blow! It would have been just like the one that blew up in Bucharest in 1989. I wasn't sure I wanted to get involved in that thing because they were banned in most every country back in 1994...until Hellbinkus said best steakhouse in the bay area! I heard that and was all in, my thoughts took me to every steakhouse in the bay area and I could only dream it was going to be the Wood Tavern Restaurant. When ol Binkie turned onto hwy 13, I knew right then and there we were going to the Wood Tavern. All I can say is the dinner was spectacular! ☆☆☆☆☆"

"Get ready for a outstanding service and amazing food. I'll tell you, it is not cheap but it is worth it! The duck was delicious and the steak perfectly cooked! I would say that the mash potatoes didn't meet my expectations, taste like regular mash potatoes, nothing special. The bar offers really tasteful drinks. Overall, it was a great place to have lunch or dinner."
