"The place is really cool, the kind of place you can meet up after work, or see some family. Ita a nice in-between from relaxed/pub and a fancy place. The fries and onion rings left something to be desired. But the main dishes were great. Also, the bread pudding is the best ive ever had, period."

"The Brotzeit Lokal Restaurant sure was a sight for sore eyes! I was out on the water all day with Mr. Peabody and his boy Sherman, looking for things that used to be. We launched Peabody's submersible, from the Pilot House in and around the bay islands looking for clues to things he and his boy could explore later with his Wayback machine. He settled on the sunken steamer SS Horcassious that went down in 1886 when she struck the Brothers outcropping. What a sight, but not as great a sight as the food that came from the kitchen of Brotzeit Lakal, all I can say is WOW! ☆☆☆☆☆"

"This place is so special! I happened upon it one day when I was walking in the area and decided to treat myself to a drink and a pretzel! It’s quickly becoming a weekly stop. The staff are so nice and everything is delicious…and the view! Love it!"

"Decent selection of - relatively - authentic German food with some local twists on the menu. As a German I quite enjoyed the meal. The selection of beers was alright. Good location as it's right by the bay. A bit steep in pricing, but I assume that's the location."
