Reviews of The Melt
"The workers are friendly and very polite. I visit here very often and I appreciate how attentive they are to my needs. The food is amazing as well. I love the sweet potatoes fries, strawberry shake and patty melt. They are open late which is a plus."
"Time of review March 3, 2024 (all prices are listed based on the time of review) (I’m a private chef, I’m basing it off what you should have gotten vs what you actually get) I ordered the impossible patty melt $14.98 I’d rate it a 1 out of 5 ⭐️ - I want to start off with the caramelized onions, I can tell these weren’t done just by the look of it. Real caramelized onions have a natural sweetness to them, these onions did nothing for the sandwich. I did not taste it at all because it didn’t add any flavor, disappointing to say the least. The mustard was overpowering everything, each bite you taste the mustard. There’s no balance. The meat was okay. The vegan meat sufficed(I will say, at first I was confused on why the meat was so weird, until I noticed it was impossible meat. Oh well). The cheese was alright, no cheese pull or much flavor either. Overall very underwhelming, no flavor, just a mustard sandwich. For a $14.98 sandwich I would have expected more than what was given. Next I ordered the Melty Mac $8.49 I give this a 0 out of 5 ⭐️ - Lord, this was the worst Mac and cheese I’ve ever had in my life. When I say there was no cheese, you better believe me. It was just dry pasta with breadcrumbs on top. I’ve never been so disappointed with mac and apparently no cheese. This should just be called Mac. Last thing I tried was garlic Parmesan cheese $4.99 I give this a 5 out of 5 ⭐️ - I’ll give this credit, it was good. Crispy, garlicky and had plenty of Parmesan cheese. How it should be. Overall score : 1 out of 5 stars ⭐️ Dissatisfied and Disappointed"
"The burger in that photo looks absolutely delicious. Unfortunately, a terribly bad case of the cover does not reflect the contents of the book. This place was EXPENSIVE. The food that came out looks like it’ll be worth that price. It is not. The patty lacks any kind of flavour at all; I have no idea how that is possible. What’s worse is the inside was so incredibly dry, I really had to question my sanity. The outside of the patty looks so juicy, how is it like that in the middle? I don’t remember if there was an option to get this medium, but it was well done instead. VERY well done. The place was also incredibly dirty. I could barely find a seat without bread crumbs on it. The pickle was delicious. Will probably only come back if it’s like 0100h and I want a burger slightly above McDonald’s. Man for that price I expected great things."
"I had an exceptional dining experience at Melt in San Francisco. My husband and I became true fans after enjoying their delicious offerings 3 times during our 5-day stay at SF. The Melt Burger, Steak and Fajita Mac 'n Cheese, Steak and Cheese Melt, and Beef Patty Melt were all mouthwateringly good. The top-notch service, even during late-night hours (we dined at 2 am), and warm ambience added to the overall excellence of this establishment. Melt is a definite must-visit for its delectable menu, exceptional service, and convenient late-night hours."
"We came late around 23 hrs on a Monday. they greeted us really nice. It was really fast! The burger was great and the steak fajita was on the point. Shout out to Skyy & Edwin!!! for the great customer service. Will recommend this place !"
