"Delightful neighborhood restaurant, especially for sushi! We walked in on a Friday night and didn't have to wait for a table. Our server was very polite and and offered great suggestions. We loved the agedashi tofu, but the sushi was exceptional. We mostly ordered nigiri with a yellowtail roll and a spicy specialty roll, but all of the fish was just fantastic and very fresh. The server explained the chefs follow a more specialized slow-preparation method for sushi and we definitely tasted the difference."

"Good, albeit unspectacular local spot for sushi. Service is friendly and food comes out real quick. Been disappointed in the miso soup being lukewarm every time I’ve ordered it. Not sure why I keep ordering it at this point. The small omakase combo platter for $25 is a fairly good deal considering we are in SF, but it’s on the smaller side to be a full meal."

"This restaurant is small and popular, and had a really great selection of well-marked vegan and vegetarian rolls. The Miso soup can be vegetarian for an extra $1. Has Japanese beers on tap (Sapporo and Asahi). Service is a little slow, but unobtrusive and there were no issues with our order. It's a little pricey, but worth it for a nice night out."
