"**BEWARE** - They'll keep your car for as long as they want to blackmail you if you don't oblige to all their "repairs". I truly wish I listened to the other 1 star reviews on here, as they are all the same. Read the other 1-2 star reviews, and see if they are similar. I should have known better. - Scheduled an appointment for a tire repair and oil change. - I come in, the old, short, creepy looking man with glasses, named MIKE, (MICHEL TANNER), was on the computer, and another obese man with a grey/white beard were behind the counter deciding what to eat for lunch, as I'm just standing there. - Anyways, after they finally decide, he turns finally turns my way and gives me his attention. I say I have a slow leak in the 2 rear tires, and want an oil change. He looks at my tires for less than 3 seconds, gets my mileage and comes back inside. By the way, this whole time, he hasn't said a word to me. - We get inside, I get an estimate of $177 for an oil change, 2 tire repairs, and labor.. (usually tire repairs are free or around $30 if tire not bought at shop, it was just a pin nail btw). I said ok, because the main shop I go to wasn't open and I needed my car that weekend. - After the paperwork, he doesn't say a word, so I asked MIKE, "approximately how long would this take?" He goes: "Oh just a couple hrs"... (Seen that exact response on other reviews for this shop as well) I'm thinking, ok, this is a shady shop, I'll probably get my car back or at least a call in 2 - 3 hrs at most, if I'm lucky. **** 4.5 hours go by without a call, notice, message, nothing. **** So, I call them, MIKE answers, and I already knew what they were going to say. He says there's many things wrong with your car, and starts listing things off extremely fast, in a blurred voice, and says, we have to keep your car until tomorrow for all the repairs... (Keep in mind, I came in for an oil change and 2 tire repairs. Nothing else.). I reply: "Don't do anything else, but an oil change." (Shouldn't have even asked for that...) Hang up, then go straight there. - I see my car on the lift, all my tires off, no one in sight in the garage. I go to the counter and ask MIKE (MICHAL TANNER), what's going on? He says, I need to get 2 brand new tires because the pin nail was too close to the side wall. (It wasn't even close.). I decline and say, just finish do the oil change and that's it. After about another hour waiting at the shop watching MIKE stare at the computer, I ask what's going on? (This is just an oil change btw). He tells me they're waiting for an OIL FILTER to arrive because they don't have one in stock. (People reading, look at the map: AUTOZONE IS RIGHT ACROSS THE STREET!) - So, basically for 5 HOURS they were waiting for an oil filter. They didn't even have the curtesy to let me know earlier. At this point I say: Just give me my car back, I don't even want oil change. MIKE, as he's walking away from me, says: "Oh, no no no, we cant. We ALREADY put the new oil in, so all the oil will drain out the bottom without filter or some BS." (I knew this was a complete lie and it doesn't even make sense.) I say, "Just put my old one on, (should be on there anyways), and give me my car back"... His reply: "Nope, old filter is gone". - This is FRAUD. Only thing I can do now is wait there for an oil filter, (which they probably had already) - I had to wait ANOTHER hour, and what do you know, the oil filter (same one I see at Autozone, 'STP' brand), "arrives" at 5:30PM. Shop closes at 6PM.I go outside to watch my car and I see the mech take the OLD filter out and put the new one in.. - I paid $97 dollars and 5 hours for this. - Also if it couldn't get any worse, they put in 10W30 oil instead of 5W30 that my car takes. - I usually don't get that riled up, but this is INEXCUSABLE. MIKE (MICHEL TANNER) will take advantage of people's lack of knowledge in cars to swindle/blackmail/extort you for as much money as possible right in front of your face. Use your own judgement for this review, but I'm just warning you.... I will NEVER come here."

"Great local spot to have your car serviced in the Clayton Valley area. Mike and his crew get the job done in a reasonable amount of time, and at a reasonable price. 10/10 would recommend."

"I will start by saying I have bought many sets of tires from this place over the years when it was branded as a good year. Beware of asking for the out the door price. They didn't include the tax in the out the door price. So when I got there, the actual price was over $150 more than quoted. Also, they installed 2 tires that were manufactured 4 years ago in 2019 from their stock, then 2 tires they ordered with the manufacturers' date of 2023. These were put on my 2020 GMC 3500. 2 of the tires were manufactured before the truck. It took over 4 hours to install the 4 tires. I applied for and used the Drive Card to get the rebate and a free alignment. This place couldn't do the alignment on my truck, claiming it wouldn't fit on their rack, and they have no contracts with other shops, so I am out of the free alignment"
