"Must get: lamb rack, Mandalay special noodles, and chicken curry. The special beef was good too but tasted just like orange chicken (had better ones at Chinese restaurants). Tea leaf salad was mostly peanuts and I personally prefer the ones with more leaf."
"Cozy atmosphere with amazing food! Pretty much every dish we got was a hit. If you’re in SF, definitely have to give the Burmese food scene here a try, and Mandalay is a must! The waiters are very nice and attentive as well."
"It's a restaurant with a very good business, so people will wait in line and eat, but I found the atmosphere of this place with memories of the days when I often went on business trips to Myanmar, and the staff were friendly and the atmosphere was good, but cleaning the empty plates so quickly seemed to care too much about table turnover. Why did everyone give 5 stars,, oyster sauce, and liquid MSG? I had to keep drinking water when I got home. In the past, if you deliberately insisted on the name of Myanmar's glorious time country as Burma, it is a good enough business, so I look forward to developing it into a place that introduces Myanmar culture and tradition more. It's good to use the end of Asparagus to prevent the waste of ingredients, but to do so, restaurant have to tap the back part with a knife and use it gently, or you have to cook it first and put the front part in later. It was so hard that I couldn't eat . And compared to the ingredient composition, the price is high compared to both sides, And compared to the composition of the ingredients of the food, the price is very high, even considering that this is Sanfrancisco, which is high cost of living place. We had a 1 drink , 2 hot tea, 2 soup , ,3main dishes and 2simple dessert drink ."
"This is the best place to get your Burmese fix. Wait staff are so friendly and the food hits the spot. The ginger lemonade is the perfect punch to go with your food! My all time favorite dish is the Mandalay Special Noodle. And don’t skip out on the Balada appetizer!"
