"I love that this place is open later, their food is absolutely incredible. I can't recommend the soup dumplings more. It is one of those hole in the wall places you might walk by and never notice, but it is worth the trip inside. It is no frills but friendly service. I can't wait to go back and bring more friends to enjoy their food."

"Perhaps it was Valentine's Day and they were short staffed. Greasy slippery floors resulted in a slip and fall. After being seated, wait times to order food was over 30 minutes while watching the short staff send off order after order of take out and delivery orders. Finally asked for their tablet and ordered food on our own. Had to help ourselves to cups and napkins due to very dismal service. Food came quick and was decent. Then took another 15 minutes to get the bill after finished eating."

"This is a very cozy and thematic Chinese restaurant in the Southern section of San Francisco's Sunset District. I visited this restaurant with my mother. The restaurant servers are enthusiastic people who gave us a warm welcome and guided us through their favorite items on their diverse selection of dishes. My mom and I ended up enjoying their Vegetarian Dumplings, Hot & Sour Soup, Fried Rice and Boiled Peanuts. The dumplings were soft and subtly delicious. Their fried rice was cooked perfectly and the peanuts were healthy yet tasty. Overall, the food was great and healthy (low oil, low sodium). The atmosphere inside the restaurant was gorgeous. The small tables, Chinese tapestry, and wonderful aromas of the kitchen drifting into the dining area transported us to a small, quaint town in China for our lunch. The servers created a friendly environment inside and all the customers seemed to have a wide grin on their face. I felt and still feel so much more pleasure and satisfaction from my experience at Kingdom of Dumpling, but I don't have any more apt words to translate those emotions."

"Yummy dumplings! I don't believe it's true shanghai style dumplings. There are some aromatic vegetables in there that are more northern style. Everything tasted handmade and fresh. It's kind of a hole in the wall place but the wait can be long since the restaurant is small. It was pretty crowded for lunch on a weekday. You know the restaurant is clean when most of the customers there are English speaking."

Food: Napa Cabbage and Pork Dumplings - 4/5 - YUM! Can't go wrong with the dumplings here. I mean it's in the name for gosh sakes! Shanghai Soup Dumplings - 4/5 - Tasty and juicy...just how they should be! Beijing Bean Paste Noodles - 4/5 - A nice tasty noodle. The bean paste sauce gives the dish a different flavor compared to the soup and usual fried noodle dishes. I suggest giving it a chance. Service: 3.5/5 - Just like a typical Chinese place...quick service. Like most Chinese places they will try and turn the tables quickly! Ambiance: 3/5 - Hole in the wall but like most hole in the walls...it's good food!"
