"I ordered the sole it is absolute perfection, left me wondering how they got that perfect crunch on the outside just nailed the flavors and a nice simple homemade tartar on the side, the baked lemon pudding with huckleberry sauce finished it of perfectly with a Drambuie and coffee, staff thoughtful friendly experienced. Can't go wrong."

"A great lunch on a rainy day. Lovely atmosphere, wood panelled building We ate the following: Mains 1) baby back ribs - dry, tangy ribs. Coleslaw was decent, a bit sweet. 2) cheese burger - amazing burger, melt in your mouth meat. Best main 3) truffle Parmesan fries - excellent Desserts 1) s’more pudding - interesting avant--garden dish 2) sticky toffee pudding - lovely hot pudding with cold vanilla ice cream. This was the table favourite"

"Came at 3pm and waited 20 minutes for a table as I didn't have a reservation. Waiter could have passed for an English professor as he was very detailed and proper at describing the flavor profile from the entrées and wine, though he forgot to bring a drink, ginger ale, and service was slow (probably went outside to smoke a joint). Burger was very good, but McDonald's has better fries. The petrole sole was fresh and tasty, and I liked the capers. The roadhouse Martini was heavy on the Vermouth, and I prefer a cleaner Martini."

"The food was good, all plates where emptied. For Me, as a person who eats healthy and fatty food in moderation, it absolutely killed my stomach for the next two days. My pasta was swimming in pure oil, the mussels tasted like oil. Way way too much. Also the appetizer of burrata, oil oil oil. And For this price and Kaliber of restaurant I expect bread etc.. on the table. The restaurant itself is beautiful, but I recommend sitting upstairs. Downstairs was a big hall where you almost had to scream to hear each other."
