"Warning! Do NOT go to this particular Pepboys! I'd took my car there today, to get my passenger front tire repaired. Because it has a leak. I normally go to Big O tires. But the price was much cheaper at Pepboys. I'm always keeping check of my tires over-all quality. They'd immediately got to my car. But my gut was talking to me, giving me a bad feeling. The service guy did exactly what I'd sensed. He has me go in the repair area. Both guys played dumb, by asking me, was it the driver side front tire? Or the front passenger side? He already knew, because he'd already asked me. Plus we both went outside to look at my car and to get the mileage. And it was documented on the paperwork. The mechanic and the service guy immediately tells me that my driver side tire has a cut and bubble. There was no bubble. I know this, because I had my car serviced two days before, at another place, where they'd service my tires with my oil change. And I have proof..I also know that a bubble can be due to potholes and hitting a curb and high speed bump. Which I haven't done. What I also know, is that a mechanic can also create these conditions. I use to work as a mechanic. What's interesting too is. The bubble appeared once he'd pumped air into the tire. I highly recommend that all customers, take pictures of their car, before you head in. Sadly. If you don't know any better or have proof, before you take you car in for service. You're at the mercy of the mechanic. After that scam. I didn't let my car leave my sight until I was inside of my car. You can also watch your car there. There's an open public parking that's shared with the other stores. But like I've already stated. Don't take your car there."

"My daughter urgently needed a new set of tires on a Sunday. Pep Boys was the only tire shop open on Sunday, so we went there, despite not having any previous experience with this business. We were assisted by David, whom I believe is the manager at the Union City location. He provided Excellent service, and did not try to upsale unnecessary products or services, as is common at tire shops. The speed of service was great as well. Bottom line: I am now a Pep Boys fan, and definitely recommend this business."
