"The Max Restaurant at the Gellert Marketplace in Daly City was the worst branch I've ever experienced. The service was incredibly poor, and here's why: My mom and I ordered crispy tokwa, fresh lumpia, and buko pandan, but after 45 minutes of waiting and seeing another table's order arrive before ours, I had to inquire about our order with Ms. Jhoy, who I assumed was the manager. She dismissed me and claimed the kitchen was preparing our order, despite other tables receiving their food promptly. When I questioned why our order was taking longer, she raised her voice and made excuses. Eventually, our order arrived, but the server admitted it hadn't been processed because it wasn't printed. This level of service is unacceptable. Although the food was good, the lack of apology and assurance from the team leader demonstrated a complete disregard for customer satisfaction."
"There are lots of free parking spaces available. There is no valet service here. Wheelchair accessible entrance. Not too many tables here, os if you come with a big group, reservations is a must. I ordered their famous fried chicken and kare-kare. It didn't disappoint. Loved it! Staff were friendly and very helpful. There are lots of delicious food in their menu. Tables were sticky, and their restroom smelled a little."
"First time here although we pass by it all the time and we were parking to go to Panera however when I jumped out of the vehicle and this aroma of something so inviting had drawn me towards it. I didn't know where it was leading me and then I realized it was Max's restaurant. My husband always wanted to try their Filipino food but we ended up not going and here I find myself leading my husband there. I felt like that parrot on the cereal commercial... Just follow your noise lol. I wanted to try their oxtail but saw their famous fried whole chicken on the menu like what thaaa.. we ordered their mixed noodle pancit with shrimp and pork /no vegetables and steamed rice. I gotta tell you it was soooo tasty and delicious and I've tried other places but I think this is going to be our new spot. The staff was good and friendly."
